Accuracy starts with knowing where information comes from. Verified Malaysia uses a source-led process to build, compare and maintain company profiles.
Confirm the company name, public brand, official website and legal entity where reliable public information is available.
Start with official company websites, investor-relations materials, annual reports, public records, regulator or authority sources and official location pages.
Check services, products, locations, contact channels, warranties, pricing or terms only when those facts are relevant to the page and available from a reliable source.
Map each fact to standard fields so companies within the same comparison group can be compared on the same decision criteria.
Store the source URL and last-reviewed date. Volatile information such as Google ratings, review counts, prices, promotions and store counts must be refreshed instead of treated as permanent facts.
Businesses may submit evidence or request corrections, but Verified Malaysia decides how information is presented and keeps a record of changes.
Source checking confirms that a fact was found in a reviewed source; it does not mean Verified Malaysia certifies the company, guarantees service quality or independently audits every business operation.
